Dead Outlaw was a dream project - an original musical by my favorite creative team from The Band’s Visit. It debuted off-Broadway at Audible Theater in February 2024, and then made the move to Broadway in April 2025. I was lucky enough to work on both iterations of the key art.
Below is the key art for the off-broadway production, the intention being to feel like an old school rock poster. The following is the key art for Broadway, for which I illustrated the icons on the red bandana. The pieces that follow that are from the cutting room floor, you can see the full rock poster exploration :)
